Job Title: Planner/Scheduler (Project Controls Lead)
Location: Calgary, AB
Contract Length: ASAP – Dec 31, 2024 (high likelihood of being extended)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week (in office); travel to site in Northern Alberta required as needed (~1-2 times/month)

Main Functions:
The Project Controls Lead will implement overall project controls direction, with the heaviest weighting being on scheduling. This individual will be supporting management with Cost and Schedule. The portfolio is in growth phase, and this individual will generally be managing 7-8 projects throughout the winter.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management preferred
  • Must have strong proven experience of building level 2 and 3 schedules with resource loading
  • Individual must be senior level, with the technical ability to run the tools day-to-day
  • Primavera P6 (or other similar softwares) – must be advanced user
  • Minimum 10-15 years experience – more senior level candidates will be considered if they have been doing hands on scheduling in recent position
  • Change Management
  • Earth works and heavy civil experience preferred
  • Tailings projects preferred
  • Experience in projects valued at $50M >
