Field Service Technician

NES Fircroft has partnered with a leading provider in energy solutions. They are seeking an experienced Electrician willing to travel nationwide to execute transformer installation, commissioning, testing, repair, maintenance, and refurbishment activities. 

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Perform service installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work on transformers of various sizes, from distribution to large power transformers.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage service activities from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to safety standards, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships throughout the service lifecycle.
• Support sales initiatives by identifying potential business opportunities and providing technical expertise.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports associated with service activities.

Experience wanted: 

• A-Grade Electrician certification.
• 4+ years of field experience in transformer service.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
